Fullmetal Alchemist is an anime adaptation of the manga of the same name written by Shō Aikawa. It followed the original plot until some point, they created a totally different story and a totally different ending than the original. The characters stay the same but they have different attitudes, catchphrases, and intentions. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, is, unlike it's predecessor, accurate to the original manga!

It was broadcasted in 2009, or 6 years after the first anime adaptation.PLOT. Edward and Alphonse Elric are two ordinary brothers living in a world a little different from ours, unlike us, they developed the concept of Alchemy, a sort of 'magic', where we developed mechanics. They lived alone with their mother, childhood Friend Winry Rockbell and her grandmother Pinako Rockbell in a small town called resembourg. Their father, Hohenheim left the house for a chance to find his very old 'friend' Father, or the dwarf in the flask, to put an end to his diabolical plans. All he left for them is his gift for alchemy! The two boys quickly learn the basics and become better and better each day that passes. Where other kids are reading stories, they read books about alchemy.
But one day their mother gets really sick and eventually dies. Having read something about 'Human transmutation' a dangerous process allowing the alchemist performing it to suposingly bring back from the dead someone or something! But they have to pay the price. Human transmutation is banned for a reason, it is very dangerousfor the alchemist atempting it.
When Edward and his brother Alphonse try to bring their mother back, Al ends up losing his whole body while Ed pays with his arm. During the 'ritual' a gate appears and tiny black hands pull the daring alchemist inside, showing him a so called truth.
After being healed by Pinako and given automail by Winry, Ed and Al are invited by Lt. Hawkeye and Roy Mustang to join the military, after some thinking, they decide that it's better for them to accept the offer.
After this day, they have been looking for the philosopher's stone to get their original bodies back, fighting homunculuses, chimeras, and Scar along the way, they end up teaming up with Scar, a Ishbalin survivor, Mustang, hawkeye, and Hohenheim to take down 'father', the so called creator of the homunculi, wanting to absorb his so called god.
I have always been a fan of Fullmetal Alchemist. One thing that always caught my eye was the Transmutation circles. When digging into them I discovered they are actually loosely based on actual alchemy which just peeked my interest even more. It had been lurking in the back of my head for a while I wanted to something from the series, then it kind of culminated when I started using my laser etcher. I would transfer the transmutation circles something you could carry, just a little trinket you could carry in a pocket, a coin.
The first attempt did not turn out to great. I ran the etch but then realized it was deep enough for my liking so I ran it again. Well somewhere in that process something got fudged and I ended up with a double image instead of a deeper etch. So that entire board was ruined and I had to toss it. Sometimes when it's a 'pet project' set backs like that will cause it to be shifted to a back burner or even tossed out for simple frustration. Filezilla download for mac.

This time however I was determined to make it work, and seeing as how I had some down time from orders it wasn't a stretch to make it happen. So the second attempt turned out much better and after a little polishing it up I got it to mold. I have to say the cold cast silver coins turned out pretty amazing and now I'd like to share those with you.
